How much do I use per wash?

One capful, 40 ml, for a machine holding 4.5 kg of laundry. With very hard water Kazidomi says to add a second capful. The 1.5 litre bottle therefore covers up to 37 washes. It goes into the compartment meant for softener, never straight onto dry laundry.

Softener or detergent: what is the difference?

Detergent washes; the Kazidomi softener softens the fibres at the end of the cycle and scents the laundry. It does not clean and does not stand in for a detergent. The two go into separate compartments of the drawer, each at its own dose, the softener acting at the rinse.

What is in the formula?

Water, TEA-esterquat, isopropyl alcohol, citric acid, fragrance and calcium chloride: the formula runs to six ingredients. Kazidomi has this softener made in France, by a family firm. Cotton flower is the only scent added to that base, with no colourant and no optical brightener in the list.

What precautions apply when using it?

Keep it out of reach of children and do not swallow it. If swallowed, call a poison centre or a doctor. Avoid contact with the eyes and rinse thoroughly with water if any splashes. The Kazidomi bottle is closed again after every dose and stored away from food.

Where and how do I store the bottle?

Somewhere dry and cool, away from heat and direct sunlight, with the cap firmly on. Kazidomi packs this softener in a 1.5 litre bottle, meant to stand upright in a utility cupboard, kept apart from food products and out of reach of children.
