Where does the protein in this granola come from?

From several plant ingredients: soya flakes at 23%, textured soya protein at 9% and pea protein powder at 5%. The Pulse Protein walnut granola is rated at 26% protein and rounds that base out with linseed, oat flakes, sunflower seeds, walnuts and almonds.

Is there added sugar in it?

The ingredients list names no sugar: the sweet note comes from the apple purée in the recipe. The Pulse Protein walnut granola does carry inulin powder at 6%, a fibre drawn from chicory. Anyone who tolerates it poorly can start with a small portion.

Walnut granola or chocolate granola from the range?

The base is shared, but the Pulse Protein walnut version stays on a plain profile, with walnuts and almonds for the crunch. The chocolate version swaps the almonds for hazelnuts and adds dark chocolate and cocoa powder, which changes both the taste and the stated protein figure.

Is it suitable for gluten-free and vegan eating?
